Terms of service

GENERAL INFORMATION ♡

♡ By commissioning me, you agree to the following terms of service.

♡ You are only purchasing a digital file, nothing printed.

♡ I will perform to the best of my ability and warrant the commission will be 100% original according to my best knowledge.

➜ I may use copyright-free assets or tools. I will not copy or heavily reference unauthorised materials.

♡ I will only draw in my style. Providing other artists as reference is fine, but asking me to exactly copy an artist's style will not be accepted.

♡ I won't draw:

➜ Masculine characters

➜ Lolis/shotas (small & flat chested adult women are completely okay)

➜ Old looking characters

➜ Furries (kemonomimi is okay)

➜ Hentai and extreme fetishes (ask if in doubt)

➜ Anything offensive, or inappropriate.

♡ TAT for my services are generally:

➜ Illustrations: 2-3 months

➜ Dakis and Vtuber models: 4 months

REFUND POLICY & PROCESS OF THE COMMISSION ♡

♡ A specific deadline will be set before the commission starts.

➜ If there are any delays due to major IRL circumstances, you will be informed as fast as possible. If we agree on a new delivery date, the deadline will be extended, otherwise you will have 2 options: be refunded the % of work not completed + be given the PSD file so another artist can finish your illustration, or a full refund, without the illustration file.

♡ I will update you only when I need your input (such as approving the sketch, the lineart and the shading) or for important matters regarding your commission.

➜ Feel free to DM me to ask for updates, however please do not do it more than once every week.

➜ Skeb-like commissions will have no communication in exchange for cheaper prices. WIP's can not be requested for Skeb-like commissions, and I will only update you with the final product.

♡ You are allowed to 2 revisions during the sketching phase, and 1 for all the remaining (lineart, shading, final details). Excess revisions may result in additional fees.

➜ When giving me revisions, please group everything in the same message rather than progressively asking for fixes.

➜ Skeb-like commissions will not have any revisions.

➜ If you point out a mistake that is very clearly my fault (for example a detail you asked and I forgot to include it), this won't count as a revision.

➜ Once the sketch has been approved, major changes in pose and outfit aren't allowed, or will require an extra fee.

➜ Revisions can require more work on my end, therefore the deadline may have to be moved if there are many revisions asked.

♡ If you require cancellation, I will provide a full refund only if I haven't started your commission yet. Otherwise, if I have started, I will only refund the % of commission I haven't completed - this will be estimated on a case-by-case basis.

➜ Please be aware that you will not be refunded 100% when cancelling since there are payment processing fees that can't be refunded.

➜ If I am the one cancelling the commission, you will be immediately fully refunded.

RIGHTS & USAGE ♡

♡ By default, I retain intellectual property rights on the commission, which includes to displaying and advertising the commission in my portfolio or social media.

➜ If you want it to be private, a fee will be applied. In this case, the commission will remain private until a date that we will determine in advance, and I will not show anything about the commission publicly.

♡ If you agree to it, I retain the rights to sell merchandise, prints of the commission or put it in an artbook.

➜ This will only happen if you give your explicit agreement and there will be no consequences on the commission if you refuse.

♡ I may use rejected work in progress and versions for other projects, under the condition that it does not infringe your intellectual property rights.

♡ When commissioning me, you receive usage rights to the commission for personal use.

➜ Personal use includes: posting the artwork on your social media, using it as your profile picture, displaying it on stream.

♡ Commercial usage rights are not included in general commissions, unless specified otherwise.

➜ Commercial use includes: rights to sell the artwork as merchandise for profit, using it as a paywalled reward.

➜ An extra fee will be required for commercial usage rights, generally +100% of the price of the commission.

➜ If you commissioned me a personal use artwork, you can later on purchase a commercial license by contacting me.

♡ You must not claim the commission as your own artwork and you must credit me (@juhstrange_) when posting it.

➜ For Vtuber models, I require credit as your Vtuber artist or "parent" in the biography/description of where the model is being used.

➜ For icons/banners for social media, please credit me in the biography or description.

➜ For youtube thumbnails, please credit me in the description of the video where my art is used.

➜ If you do not want to credit me, a full buyout of the intellectual property rights will be necessary.

♡ Usage of Work for AI (artificial intelligence) tools or NFT's is strictly prohibited.

♡ I do not allow any edits to be made to the illustration on your own or by a third party without my approval first. Please contact me beforehand!

♡ Please do not resell art I've made for you without warning me beforehand! If I approve the resale, you cannot resell it for a higher value.

PAYMENTS & FEES ♡

♡ Invoice will be sent to you only when I'm ready to begin the commission, you will not be charged for joining the waitlist.

♡ 50/50 payment plans are possible for orders over 150$.

➜ If you want this payment plan, you will have to pay for 50% before starting to work on the commission, and the remaining 50% before I send you the final file.

➜ For bigger budget commissions (minimum 400$), I can accept payment in 4 parts.

➜ You can pay upfront if you prefer.

♡ Invoices must be paid within 1 week, or the project may be cancelled.

♡ By commissioning me, you agree that you will not issue chargebacks and the refund policy mentioned previously will be followed.
